Workshop - Luminous Oil Paintings on Copper

This workshop teaches advantages, preparation, palette and technique involved in oil painting on copper. Learn why old masters such as Jan Breughel the Elder, Claude, El Greco and Rembrandt have all painted on copper and how using copper has helped preserve their works. Students will learn how to take advantage of the luminosity and vibrancy to their oil paintings. Liron will demonstrate surface preparation, and guided practice through a range of technique.
