Bedford Audubon Society’s mission is to promote conservation and protection of wildlife habitats through education, advocacy, nature study and bird watching. The Society conducts field trips and sponsors monthly lectures at Katonah Memorial House, which are free and open to the general public. The Society also publishes a newsletter four times a year. Bedford Audubon Society owns and manages 594 acres of land at four sanctuaries in Bedford, Lewisboro, North Salem and Pound Ridge which are open to the general public from dawn to dusk.
