Gala, Ginger Gold, Honeycrisp, Macoun … whatever kind of apples you like you can find an orchard on Long Island where they are growing. Pick them yourself or pick up a bag, but get picking soon because the season doesn’t last forever.

We have found the best 'pick your own' apple orchards and apple farms in and around the great state of New York. They offer the best apple picking so get some friends or family together and get started picking apples to eat raw, bake in a pie or use in recipes. You know what they say … an apple a day keeps the doctor away! 

Make sure to call the farm before you head out. If the apples are not ready or if they have all been picked, the farm may choose to close for the day.
