Swine Flu Panel To Discuss Current Outbreak, Future Steps
Paul Smiths – Paul Smith's College will host a panel discussion Friday about swine flu. Trudeau Institute Director David Woodland, as well as infection-control specialists from the Adirondack Medical Center and the Franklin County Department of Public Health, will discuss the science and status of the H1N1 virus outbreak and steps researchers are taking to head off future pandemics.
In addition, Dr. Dawn Jelley-Gibbs, a Trudeau immunologist, will talk about the virus with Paul Smith's biology students before the panel.
