Photography Program

            The Color Camera Club of Westchester, serving photographers here in Westchester County since the early 1950s, was founded to sponsor and support activities for the camera enthusiast. The club’s purpose is to help beginning through advanced photographers learn photographic skills that will increase their artistic ability and their pleasure of photography.  We have weekly meetings on most Monday nights at 7:30 PM at the American Legion Post #1038, 27 Legion Drive, Valhalla, NY educational and artistic programs to further the proficiency of our members and guests. 

 

          The CCCW is a member of the Westchester Arts Council as well as the Photographic Society of America  and participates in gallery exhibits throughout Westchester on a regular basis.    Our weekly programs are free and all guests are welcome. Our monthly competitions of digital images and prints are enjoyable, educational and inspirational. We also present workshops, take field trips and travel to photogenic locations for weekend photographic opportunities. 

 

         CCCW continues to afford members an opportunity to learn, to discover new avenues to approach their creative visions and to acquire fresh perspectives in photography.
