“MOVIE NIGHT” FEATURE AT
FATHER & SON BANQUET
ALL WELCOME TO PLEASANTVILLE’S EMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH

PLEASANTVILLE, NY, May 18, 2009 – A Father & Son Banquet will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009, from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 197 Manville Road, Pleasantville, NY.
The “Movie Night” themed event will feature a showing of independent film “Walking Shadow” from Douglas Hosdale. Mr. Hosdale will be on-hand to discuss the film and new developments in independent film-making.
“Walking Shadow” was filmed entirely on location in New York City and tells the story of a young boy who follows a scribbled address on the back of old photograph as he tries to find a grandfather he never met.
All ages are welcome. The event seeks to bring together sons and their fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, fathers-in-law, or adoptive fathers in a nod to the special bond between fathers and sons.
Tickets are $8 per person and a choice of pasta or chicken is available. The sit down dinner with waiter service will also feature a banquet hall decorated with movie posters.
