College Scholarship Application- June 2009

The PYSC Board of Directors has established a scholarship fund for graduating seniors who have participated in the PYSC.  Consideration will be given to the well-rounded candidate who has participated in voluntary and/or community service.  This fund will award a $1,000 scholarship this year.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to apply for the Robert A. Hyman MemorialScholarship, all applicants must:

1. Be a graduating High School Senior the year of the application.

3. Plan on attending College in the fall following graduation.

4. Have participated in PYSC for at least three (3) years if a current team member, or 4 years if not currently a member of a PYSC team. Participation need not have been in successive seasons,

5. Have been involved in extracurricular school activities and/or community service. and/or held a part time job.

APPLICATION:

All applications must be completed and received by PYSC no later than June 13, 2009.  All applications will remain confidential and will only be reviewed by the PYSC Scholarship Committee. Mail to PYSC Scholarship, C/O Stapleton, 214 Edgewood Ave., Pleasantville, NY 10570.
