Mission
The Mission of The Performing Arts Center is to promote the visual and performing arts at Purchase College and fulfill the cultural outreach and public service mission of the College by:

...Presenting, developing, and encouraging the highest excellence in the performing arts at The Center.

...Enriching the lives of the public and the students of the College by encouraging and advancing public knowledge.

...Supporting professional artists of merit in the creation and development of new works and assisting in the dissemination of such works throughout the world.

...Creating models of excellence for students by facilitating and promoting the presentation of works performed by students in conservatory training; and promoting interest in the study of the performing arts by providing an atmosphere of freedom to pursue creative objectives.

About Us
Each year, The Center attracts more than 115,000 people attending over 350 events. It presents twelve professional series of music, dance and theatre performances and many special events. The conservatory and academic divisions of Purchase College use the facility, as do many of the area's major arts organizations. In addition, corporations, production companies, film companies, record companies, community groups and charities frequently rent one of the four theatres and/or auxiliary spaces.
