About Us

The philosophy of the Community and Senior Center is to assist all those residents living in the Town of Greece (Pre-school through their existing life) in their social, psychological and physiological development; as they experience personal growth through the stages of the life cycle.

The Community and Senior Center is a consolidation of the existing Town Department of the Youth Bureau and Parks and Recreation. The purpose for this consolidation is:


To ensure that adequate prevention and intervention services are available to the residents of the Town of Greece that can assist them in reaching their fullest human potential.

To pursue and ensure collaboration and a wholistic prevention and intervention arena in which these services will be offered.

To stimulate the existing human service programs that presently exist while developing new-found program strategies pertinent to community needs.
