Rudolph Montanez - Basbeball Words

Rudolph Montanez has created a photography exhibit which consists of baseball related terms - created with unique materials. Montanez explains, "I wanted to construct a series of 'baseball-related words' for children, ages 6 to 12. They would consist of photographs of words made from different materials. Having been a public school teacher for many years, I feel it is important for us to enable our children to see the world in expanded ways. One way to do this is to combine sports with the intellect, namely the arts. Thus, this marriage can but only improve the imagination and creativity of the individual and also in the end, the community."

This exhibit is currently on view now at the Richmond County Ballpark Atrium windows.
