Staten Island, NY – This year, Staten Islanders are faced with the duty to elect not only the next President of the United States but also our next Congressional Representative, as well as our local, state and city Officers thereby prompting concerned leaders and citizens to work collaboratively to ensure all community voices are recognized and acknowledged by and with the power of individual votes.  With the support of the NYS Voter’s Assistance Commission, the following organizations have assembled for this historic initiative including:  Celebrating Real Family Life, Daughters of Africa Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Fellowship Baptist Church, First Central Baptist Church, Girl Scouts of America, Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Leadership Through Sports, Staten Island Minority Civic Association, Mt. Sinai Christian Church, National Council of Negro Women, Northfield Community LDC, People on the Move, Pink Diamonds Steppers Association, St. Phillips Baptist Church, Staten Island African American Political Association, Staten Island NAACP, Young, Talented and Gifted.

Starting Friday, October 3rd until Friday, October 10th the following sites will have volunteers registering voters:

Rock the Vote t-shirts to be made available!  

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, First Central Baptist Church Youth Ministry and members from St. Phillips Baptist Church are stomping the grounds with us this weekend!  The youth ministry has designed their own t-shirts to highlight and encourage everyone to vote in this upcoming election!  

Join us for this historic initiative!  Volunteers are most welcome!  Have fun and meet new people.
