DefeatNASCAR.org is closely affiliated with SCAT (Staten Island Citizens Against the Track) and is the result of concerned citizens of Staten Island refusing to bow to the power of the NASCAR juggernaut and allow our island to become the latest victim in NASCAR's thirst for growth and revenue. NASCAR and its potential impact on the people, environment and economy of Staten Island. As well, this site will have information about past as well as the scheduling and location of future meetings.
