An "American Master," and pivotal in the resurgence of the American realist movement. A Cincinnati native (living in New York State) Daniel Greene is an accomplished portrait, figure, and still life painter. He is renowned for his oils and is one of the world's leading pastelists. His works have been featured in numerous exhibitions, and hang in over 700 public and private collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Cincinnati Art Museum, and National Collection of Fine Arts. Miller Gallery is proud to show a diverse collection of his finest works, including paintings from the renowned "Subway", "Auction", and "Coney Island" series; figurative, portraits and still life.
