Baseball As America is a celebration of America's national treasure and pastime. With more than 500 artifacts on display, the exhibition is organized in seven thematic sections that allow visitors to experience and understand the role of baseball in American culture and history. Signature artifacts include The Doubleday Ball, the world's most valuable baseball card - Honus Wagner of 1909, and record-breaking homerun bats used by Babe Ruth, Roger Maris, Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire. Visitors can also step up to the plate with a pitching cage, live demonstrations and additional interactive exhibits developed especially for families.
Baseball As America was organized by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York. The national tour of Baseball As America is sponsored by Ernst & Young, LLP.
