The Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are once again partnering to build two homes in Cleveland in 2008 as part of a nationwide effort to make the dream of homeownership a reality for low-income families in our community. Both homes will be located at 9418 and
9608 Bessemer Avenue (south of
Kinsman Ave. East of
East 93rd St). Thrivent Builds gives the opportunity to greater Clevelanders to help two of the 14 million American families who have critical housing needs.
COST OF THE 2 HOMES:$197,798
$128,568 provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
$49,450 will be raised by Habitat for Humanity
$19,780 will be raised through the fundraising efforts of the East, Northwest and SouthCuyahogaCounty chapters of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Lutheran churches in CuyahogaCounty.

The walk will take place on Saturday, April 19th at at the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation (exit I-77 at
Grant Ave and go to
East 49th St.Follow the green signs to the Reservation). Walkers are encouraged to obtain sponsors for the walk.If you are unable to be at the walk, contributions can be mailed to:
