City Of Greenville
Greenville, Ohio is the home of the Treaty of Greenville. This treaty signed in 1795 by the United States and many Native American tribes brought peace and settlement to open up the Northwest Territory. We are proud of our heritage and the role this community played in America's development.
In the 21st century, Greenville looks to become a leader among rural communities in quality of life, economic development, education, safety, and government services.
Greenville is the home of the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, international suppliers BASF and Greenville Technology Incorporated, Honeywell/Fram and Beauty Systems Group, Inc.
Our heritage includes the world famous Annie Oakley, the Great Darke County Fair, Historic Downtown Greenville, the Garst Museum, the beautiful Greenville City Park, and the wonderful Maid Rite Sandwich Shop.
