August 8, 2009 Folks I have been driving though this small town for years (2-4 times per week) and virtually everytime I drive through a variety of LEO's "cops" are writing tickets. It's a disgrace and I thought I'd start posting as many as I can. You lose respect for cops when you see this going on. This is not a safety issue in Goodwell it is a moneymaker.

This little town located on Hwy 54 in the Oklahoma panhandle has to be one of the biggest speedtraps in the country. Speed drops as you enter town from 65mph to 40mph and more often than not there will be 2-3 cops/patrolmen sitting in the rest area on the southwest end of town shooting radar or profiling. They sit in nice shiny vehicles and really cash in.

created in Autodesk Maya 8. The video was edited in Premiere CS3, composited in After Effects CS3 and the Audio was mixed in Soundtrack Pro Studio 2. We filmed this short in black and white so that the compositing would be easier to key. We also choose a "Silent Film" style so we did not have to deal with the hassle of capturing audio or dubbing in post.
