Fun with iPad, smart cover, paper, magnets, and iMovie

:DI made this video because: 1) I really love this way of using the smart cover. The angle is also perfect for typing; The volume buttons are easily accessible (one of the two advertised ways of folding the smart cover hides the buttons at the bottom, and sometimes they even get pressed on their own); The headphone jack is on the left and it suits my headphones perfectly because its wire only connects to the left ear, and since the jack is at the bottom, the wire is flat against the desk and doesn't get in the way of anything (like when I'm spinning my pen in my right hand) unlike the situation using the "other method"; It offers a better way to adjust landscape orientation than the "other method" which involves (a) showing the world what's on your screen and then risking banging the iPad's edge on the desk when you set it down or (b) dragging the iPad's edge on the desk when you lift the top of the screen; And it's a simpler matter to convert this typing position to the watching-a-movie position without having to turn the iPad. The down sides: The smart cover's fold wasn't very secure, so I added a non-slip material which detracts from the appearance but I'm not too fussed about that; The port is on the right side, and my power point at my desk is on the left, but I find that the cable's length is enough and I get to tuck the cable away neatly; Because the speaker isn't as close to the desk as it is in the "other method", the sound escapes easily and there is no ...

"Make love until the sun burns down" I wanted to look deeper into those words. Basically, the sun represents life with the person you love. It rises when you meet and sets (or 'burns down') when you part. Everything in between is 'making love', the laughter, the fun, getting married, having kids, enjoying life and growing old together. I intended for this video to be a bit cheesy, playful, and fun, but to have a meaning behind it, much like the song in my opinion. ;) No copyright infringement intended. I do not own the music. This is for a contest by the music artist himself so it's used with permission. Concept, (bad) drawings, music editing, and video by me, Avalyk. This is my first attempt at making videos and I'm not much of an artist so I apologize for the bad drawings. Hehe.

A LANCASTER MAN CAUGHT FIRE WHEN POLICE TASERED HIM

Lancaster, OH - Daniel C. Wood, a 31-year-old man was arrested Monday after he allegedly resisted arrest - but the freak accident that happened next still has cops scratching their heads According to Lancaster Police, officers were called when witnesses reported seeing a man inhaling the contents of an aerosol can. Investigators say officers searched the area and found a man - later identified as Wood - placing the top of an aerosol can in his mouth. When an officer attempted to subdue Wood, he allegedly resisted arrest. A second officer who arrived on scene pulled out his Taser to bring him under control. But instead of merely zapping the man, the Taser set Wood's chest on fire. Officers patted out the flames and took Wood to Fairfield Medical Center where he was treated for burns on to his chest area. Wood was then booked into the Fairfield County Jail on charges of resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer and abusing harmful intoxicants. He remains in jail in Lieu of a $5000 bond. Police policy for Taser use lists 13 restrictions for using the device. One policy states the device should not be deployed in an atmosphere where flammable or combustible materials are present - 20 August 2009.
