About Us :

Cascade Locks is governed by a Mayor and a six member elected Council, which develops policies for the City under the rules of The City Charter. The current City Council has developed goals for this year in order to guide them in setting policies for the City. Policies are set by the City Council and are administered by an appointed City Administrator and Staff.
Cascade Locks offers a beautiful, unique setting for residential housing, recreation, employment, education, and business development opportunities. The community is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. The Gorge is the only National Scenic Area in the United States. It is a place rich in beauty and rich in history. It is a place where legends flow!
City Council meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Regular meetings are televised on the local access Channel 23.
