Postal Food Drive--Stamp Out Hunger

The United States Postal Service will be hosting their annual Postal Food Drive Saturday, May 10.  To participate, simply place bags filled with nonperishable food items like canned meats, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice next to your mailbox Saturday, May 10.  Please do not put out glass items.  Your postal carrier will pick up the donated food and delivery it to Project S.H.A.R.E., Carlisle’s local food panty.   Last year, the United States Postal Service helped collect over 70 million pounds of food for food 

   pantries around the country.
