‘Cover the Uninsured Week’ an Ideal Time for Action on Health Care
Governor Edward G. Rendell says Cover the Uninsured Week is the ideal time for the state Senate to pass the Pennsylvania Access to Basic Care program that the House of Representatives adopted in March with bipartisan support. The measure includes sound, sustainable funding and would help meet Governor Rendell’s goal of providing health insurance to hundreds of thousands of uninsured Pennsylvanians. Special events to highlight the observance of Cover the Uninsured Week are being held in communities across the state. Learn more
