The Trout Gallery, Dickinson College

The Trout Gallery is on W. High Street in the Emil R. Weiss Center for the Arts on the campus of Dickinson College. The gallery houses the college's collection of art, which spans the ancient Greek through contemporary periods, with an emphasis on 16th- to 21st-century American and European works on paper; West African sculpture; Native American and Oceanic artifacts; and photography. It also presents a changing schedule of thematic exhibitions. Gallery hours (Sept.-May) are Tuesday-Saturday, 10-4; summer hours (June-August) are Wednesday-Saturday, 10-4. Gallery will be closed over Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays (Nov. 21-26 and Dec. 22-Jan. 1).
