Donora Elementary Center

Donora Elementary Center is located approximately 25 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania along the Monongahela River. It is one of the three elementary schools within the Ringgold School District. Our school has a population of 450 students in grades kindergarten to five.What a wonderful time to be in the Ringgold School District! I am pleased to be a part of the leadership as we move Donora Elementary Center into the twenty-first century. An enthusiastic vision requires leadership and cooperation. The Donora Elementary Center students, staff, parents, extended family, and community members contribute to the success of the school, making me proud to be the principal. I am honored to be a part of Donora Elementary Center.Students are our priority. We have a very caring and professional staff that is always willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of a student. We continuously work to provide the latest in technology and innovation to enhance learning while maintaining focus on academics and responsibility.

As one walks through the school, learning is evident. The hallways are adorned with an abundance of the children's creations. Children are actively involved in the learning process supporting the goals and objectives of Donora Elementary Center. We strive to teach children to take responsibility for their learning and understand the need to be active, informed school citizens. The staff creates a learning environment in which each child is accepted as an individual and is challenged to reach his maximum potential. As students achieve goals, their efforts are rewarded, they gain confidence to reach higher, and self-esteem soars.Finally, I want you to know that we are absolutely committed to doing all that we can to provide the students of Donora Elementary Center with the best possible education.
