Born in the snows of the 2007 Iowa Caucuses, George Ball's colorful Jeep dubbed "The Straight Talk Jeep" in imitation of Senator John McCain's famous bus the "Straight Talk Express", will make its first-ever appearance in Lancaster on Sunday, June 1 at the Uptown Lancaster Block Party on the 300 block of North Queen Street. The Jeep will form the anchor for "Lancaster County 4 John McCain 2008" as the McCain volunteers distribute campaign material, register new voters and answer questions on behalf of their candidate at the 6th annual Block Party. The "Straight Talk Jeep" has traveled many miles in support of John McCain's quest for the Republican Party nomination and will travel many more in support of his candidacy for President of the United States. The jeep, based in Wilmington, Delaware but owned by Pennsylvania native George Ball will be part of the MeetUp of McCain supporters staffing the Lancaster 4 John McCain 2008 booth at the event.
