Prepared Childbirth

This four week series is offered once a week for 2 ½ hours. The goal of the class is to provide valuable tools to expectant parents in preparation for the birth experience. The program includes discussion on the stages of labor, role of the coach, relaxation and breathing techniques, medications, (including epidurals), birth options, cesarean births, postpartum issues, and newborn routines. A tour of the Maternity Unit is included.

Recommended for first-time parents. Best taken during the 7th month of pregnancy. For more information or to register, please call 610-738-2300.
