Mission:

The Art Directors Club of Denver, founded in 1955, is a local non-profit, multi-disciplinary creative organization focused on strengthening the creative community through education, workshops, informative events and an annual design competition. ADCD's goal is to foster collaboration and inspiration among existing creatives, elevate local talent and resources, and empower the next generation of creative professionals.

The Art Directors Club of Denver began August 19, 1955 when a group of creative individuals saw a need for an organization to promote and expand their mutual goals and careers. They sought a medium for enhancing the professional side of the creative industry, "An organization to allow all creative individuals and allied professionals in the creative industry the opportunity for a common meeting ground whereby, through understanding and cooperation, each may grow more proficient in their chosen field."

Since its inception, the ADCD has been the creative club of choice for professionals and students, and it continues to be today. With over 400 members strong, the ADCD continues to see new faces join each month. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our membership because we cater to the entire creative industry. We continue with our committment to bring the creative industry quality programs and insightful speakers. We are committed to providing the creative industry in Colorado with a professional competition that truly measures and rewards creative excellence in our industry. Our student chapter challenges our student members to be the very best in their chosen field, and to augment their education outside the classroom by providing them with special meetings and activities.

A lot has changed since the Club's beginning, but one thing has not - the Art Directors Club of Denver has and will continue to be the only real forum for all creatives.
