Mission Statement:
In February 2002 Global Missions of Mercy (GMM) began. The current emphasis is in the mountains near Chiquimula, Guatemala as a ministry to the Chorti Indians. The Chorti Indians were a forgotten people, not only by the government but by Christians as well. GMM exists to help meet the needs of the families who live in extreme poverty in the small village of Lela Obraje, especially the needs of young girls and boys. As their needs are met, their minds, bodies and souls are being transformed.
Our church supports this mission physically, spiritually, and financially. At various times throughout the year, missionaries from the Fellowship of Encouragement embark on trips to the mission with a specific purpose.
