Berlin Township Fire Department
Mission:
Provide our community the highest level of Emergency Services through public education, fire prevention, fire suppression, and medical first response.
Jurisdiction:
Berlin Township Fire Department (BTFD) provides emergency services to a thirty-six (36) square mile response area. Our demographic response area consists of rural single and multi family residential housings and commerical businesses. As our georgraphic area consists of rich agriculture land, a river, a park, and main transportation extensions to the south. In addition to responding to our two main communities Allenton and Berville, we also provide mutual aid to multiple communities (fire departments) as follows: Almont, Armada, Capac, and Memphis. At a county level we are part of Strike Team II.
