Located in the Dundee Hills AVA in Oregon’s Willamette Valley wine region, the Black Walnut Inn and Vineyard has been greeting guests for over 10 years.  The inn -- not a hotel, and not your ordinary bed and breakfast -- is reminiscent of a European villa.

Set in the upper regions of the family’s 42-acre property, this wine country place to stay has been carefully designed by the owners with your comfort in mind.  The Utz family, world travelers themselves, have instilled their eclectic personal style at the heart of the experience you will have when you visit the Black Walnut Inn, located between Newberg and McMinnville in Oregon's wine country.

NineBlack Walnut Inn sign unique and inviting suites await your visit, each designed with a touch of European elegance.  Luxurious linens, soaking tubs, king beds, and breath-taking views are just a few of the comforts you’ll enjoy during your visit.

The staff takes great pride in helping you enjoy the secret “hidden gems” of Yamhill County such as Anderson Family Vineyards, Jake Price's Equestrian Wine Tours, or Mark Delongs Walking Wine Tours.  Whether it is that elusive Pinot noir, the best local sustainable farm for produce, or where to hike or ride your bike, we can help you with your explorations.

The inn’s location in the Dundee Hills AVA, 2.8 miles off Hwy. 99W between Newberg and McMinnville, allows for the flexibility of day tripping to the central Oregon coast, the Columbia Gorge, Mount Hood, or the city of Portland.  And the greatest thing of all: guests can explore the wineries and tasting rooms of the over 100 wineries within a 20-minute drive of the inn right here in Willamette Valley wine country.

Our central location in the Dundee Hills AVA offers easy access to numerous world-class wineries such as Argyle, Rocco, Lange, Domaine Drouhin, and White Rose and also a wide range of activities including Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, Vista Balloons, and Pedal Bike Tours.  But don't forget, our private and comfortable setting gives you the chance to escape and rejuvenate.  We hope to see you soon at the Black Walnut Inn, your luxurious and affordable place to stay in Oregon's Wine Country.
