I visited Blue Mountain resort during 2 week of March. I thought there will not be enough snow for skiing but i was taken aback when i visited the resort. It was not only good for skiing but a huge crowd turned for other several activites - skiing, snowboarding, tubing. On top of it snowed that day. The trainer was good and was very helpful in explaining the details. We were divided in to a group of 6 first timers and in no time we were on top of the mountain. You can also have basic food and beers over there once you call off your day. Overall it was a fantastic experience for a first timer like me

I am rating this based on PA Ski Areas. Blue is a 5 Star PA Ski area because it actually has over 1000 vertical feet of nearly continuous drop. You can lap the two double black diamonds all night long. It is possible to get more vertical feet in at Blue than any mountain I know given the fast lifts and quick descents (if there are no lift lines). I only come here on powder days or to get in shape, but I do enjoy it (when it isn't pure ice moguls). Last night was decent powder.

We purchased our lift tickets online but made a typo in our email address during the registration process. I was able to use the live chat on their website to get someone there to correct it. We arrived at the mountain on a Saturday around 11am. There was plenty of free parking close to the entrance. We were greeted by 2 very helpful staff members who told us how to get the lift tickets we bought online. We were on the lift within 10 minutes of arrival. Had lunch at the upper lodge with great food and service. Great day. Highly recommended!

Sure, it's a little pricey, but there's a lot to do here. The banquet hall is nice, and the ropes course is a lot of fun. Slopeside has pretty good food and a fantastic view. Of course, skiing here is also a good time, as is snow tubing. If you haven't been there, you should definitely check it out.

The staff is really friendly and they offer a lot of outdoor things to do. There's skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, ropes course, paintball and mountain biking. Probably more. There are tons of slopes and good places to eat. But it looks like it could use a little renovation and for some bizarre reason they don't offer lodging. I can't really comprehend why they wouldn't and that is the main reason I don't go often. If I could stay for a weekend that would be awesome but for now it's still lacking to me.
