The Borough of Shrewsbury is nestled in the north east section of Monmouth County. Shrewsbury consists of approximately 2.3 square miles and is primarily a residential community. Shrewsbury was settled in 1662 as one of the Two Towns of the Navesink. Its Four Corners, consisting of the intersection of Broad Street and Sycamore Avenue is of significant historical importance within Monmouth County.
