Boys And Girls Club Of Burlington

62 Oak Street
802-864-5263

Since 1942, the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington has served the youth that need us most. Today the Club provides after school, evening, weekend and summer programming to over 2,300 youth ages 5 - 19 each year in four locations in Burlington and South Burlington, Vermont. We are pleased to serve youth at Burlington's H.O Wheeler School, the Winooski Community Center, at our main Clubhouse at 62 Oak Street in Burlington, and at the Living Room, a teen center at the University Mall in South Burlington. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, regardless of circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

We provide a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.

Our programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling:

A sense of competence - the feeling that there is something boys and girls can do well
A sense of usefulness - the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
A sense of belonging - a setting where young people know they fit and are accepted.
A sense of power and influence - a chance to be heard and to influence decisions.

Membership is open to all youth ages 5 - 19 for just $5 a year. For more information please see our membership section or contact us.

The Boys & Girls Club of Burlington is an affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization that has been serving America's youth for over 100 years. 4.8 million youth are served each year in 4,000 Clubs nationally that reach out to at-risk youth in non-traditional ways. Clubs exist in every corner of the country - in public housing, schools, homeless shelters, shopping malls, military bases and Native American lands, among others.
