Trails & Rails Museum is owned and operated by the Buffalo County Historical Society. We are a progressive museum located on the route of the Mormon Trail.

Buffalo County is rich in the history of the great transportation routes of the past, present, and the future - the Mormon Trail, Union Pacific Railroad, Lincoln Highway, and Interstate 80.
