The Canal Fulton Elementary School staff established their mission statement at a Principal Led Team work session, in the spring of 1992. It is based on the seven factors of the Effective School Process and foundation that our children and what is best for them comes first.

Simply stated our mission statement is:

H.O.P.E.. - HELPING OUR PUPILS EXCEL

Our BELIEFS

• ALL children can learn.
• Increased academic achievement is the mark of effectiveness.
• Leadership must be building based.
• School improvement plans must be tailored to the needs of the:

STUDENTS, then the TEACHERS, and the ADMINISTRATORS.
