Cape Fear Chorale

PO Box 7893
910-233-0156

Cape Fear Chorale is an all-volunteer non-profit choral group whose purpose is to provide excellent choral music to the whole community at no charge.  At present the Chorale consists of  seventy some singers.  In the fall and the spring of each year the Chorale presents free concerts of musical selections drawn from traditional, classical and contemporary choral literature.  We've done everything from Renaissance motets to Mozart's Requiem, to settings of Robert Frost's poems and a piece we commissioned from Carl Nygard, Jr. to celebrate our 15th anniversary in Nov., 2013.  Since there is no admission charge for our concerts we support our activities through grants, donations, sponsorships, membership fees and the sale of advertising space in concert programs.

Directed by Jerry Cribbs, the Chorale holds rehearsals on Monday evenings at Grace United Methodist Church in downtown Wilmington. Singers are admitted by auditions held prior to the beginning of each concert season. Interested singers are encouraged to contact the Chorale by e-mail to schedule auditions.  Visit our website at www.capefearchorale.org
