Cathedral Of Life Church
About Us:
The Cathedral of Life church was founded on May 19, 1982 with Rev. John R. Helms officiating as the pastor. The first service was held in the home of Glenn and Carol Leonard, Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Eighty-five people attended that first meeting.Four days later the first Sunday morning service was held at the Elyria Savings & Trust Bank on Center Ridge Rd. Wednesday evening services continued to be held at the Leonard home for several more weeks.In June the Sunday services were moved to the North Ridgeville Middle School cafeteria. They continued there until August 1st, when the church rented a church building on the corner of Barton and Lorain Roads and began to conduct services there.
