Peoria Unified School District opened the doors to its fourth district high school, Centennial, in September of 1990. A fresh man class of 351 Students walked through the doors to the new high school filled with high expectations for the coming years, CeHS had 28 teachers and 2 administrators. Mr.Dave Moore was the first principal and facilitated the growth of the school over the next four years.

Centennial is one of five suburban high schools in the Peoria Unified School District. the community of Peoria is home to approximately 100,000 people and lies immediately northwest of Phoenix, Arizona. Centennial strives to meet the ever changing needs of our students and is fast becoming a world class high school. We strive to provide students with an environment focussed on learning and work to incorporate effective tools for learning such as effective professional development.
