Cherry City VFC Protects nearly 2000 Residents within the First District of Shaler Township. Our district is surrounded by Millvale, Etna, Rt 28, and Shares borders with Undercliff  VFC and Bauerstown VFD, both of Shaler Township. We are dispatched by Allegheny County 9-1-1, located in Point Breeze.We are an all-volunteer Company, which relies on donations from our residents to keep in operation.

Cherry City has 27 active firefighters within the company, and 20 Active members whom help with fundraising and other functional areas within the company CCVFC Provides fire suppression, rescue operations and
assistance with Rapid Intervention Teams (RIT) to our district and mutual aid companies.
