If I could, I would give this school 0 stars. When I attended this school in 6th grade day after day, I would get mercilessly pushed and shoved up against the walls. Other kids would give me death threats, and tell me that I should go kill myself. The guidance councilors knew, but did nothing about it.

I don't understand all the bad ratings this place gets. my kids went to George Fox Middle and it is horrible there. Be thankful that CBMS is nice

I hated going to this school. IF ANYONE HAS ADHD, AD, ADD, ASPERGERS, AUTISM, OR OTHER LEARNING DISABILITIES... look into the harbour school located in Cape Saint Claire, Maryland. There’s even a bus that takes students anywhere from AA County to school. I am against advertising but this school is just so terrible.

If I could give a lower score I would. My son was bullied by a staff member teased and when he asked her to stop she told him that he is a loser and the wimpiest wimp wimp she has ever met and that she can call him that. (Several adults witnessed this) When I made Mrs Hendershot aware (vice principal) she defended her and said that she has a hard job and it's difficult to deal with special needs kids. She then put my son in inschool suspension the next day. It is a danger to send your child to this school. Administration's behavior is questionable. When they do need to protect your child they defend themselves. As Michael Dunn (principal) has expressed about such incidents, "If it's not in writing I don't have to do anything about it." Or if it is in writing his response is "you are not privileged to know the actions I took." My experience is no action gets taken. I have not met a parent yet who is pleased with this school. Do not move in this school district.

Great school and great Administration. Both of my girls went here and one still takes part in some activities here. I wish there was an easier way to get from the Middle School back to the High School; however I can live with a little more driving. This building also houses the Library Media Services for AACPS. This I feel was not the best idea as it's really out of the way for people coming from other schools and it doesn't allow for a quick trip.
