City Of Boulder

1777 Broadway St
303-441-3388

Boulder is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, just 35 miles northwest of Denver. Home of the University of Colorado's main campus and the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder sits 5,430 feet above sea level and is surrounded by a greenbelt of city trails and open spaces. Boulder is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, natural product retailers and restaurants, outstanding alternative transportation options, diverse businesses, and technological and academic resources.

Visitors and residents alike may enjoy shopping on the Pearl Street Mall, the University Hill, the new Twenty Ninth Street retail center, and elsewhere in the city. There are many year-round art and cultural festivities supported by our city of just over 100,000 residents, including a twice-weekly Farmer's Market in the summertime, the annual Bolder Boulder, Shakespeare Festival and the Boulder International Film Festival. Boulder's municipal services, like recreation, transportation and senior services, have enabled our city to receive numerous awards and land on many magazine lists in categories such as "Best Place to Live" and "Bicycle-Friendly Community." Boulder truly is a special place.
