Parks: The City offers 16 parks containing nearly 100 acres of land. The parks offer different environments and facilities for enjoyment by the public. The parks are used for recreation, family gatherings, picnics, and other social events. Selected park buildings and facilities at Memorial and Heritage Parks may be reserved by contacting City Hall.
Recreation: The Parks & Recreation Department offers a variety of programs, throughout all seasons, for all ages. From June though August, the Memorial Park Pool is open for enjoyment by the public. Open swimming, swimming lessons, and lap swimming hours are available.
