This was the musical DNA that launched the Claremont Community School of Music. Noting the void created by cuts in public school music programs, these four dedicated music teachers conceived the idea for the creation of a community school of music.

Today, CCSM enrolls over 600 students annually, guided by 46 highly skilled, professional teachers and performing artists. While the majority of students reside in Claremont (CA) where the school is located, the school also draws from a fifty-mile radius including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, and Orange counties.
