The purpose and primary function of the Clayton Fire Company No. 1, Incorporated shall be to protect and safeguard lives and property by doing all within it's power to provide firefighting and rescue services within the area designated by the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission. We accept that responsibility as well as providing aid and or assistance to other fire companies, emergency organizations and governmental agencies whenever possible
