Many local school systems, both public and private— including those in Clifton– have implemented required summer reading for students in elementary and secondary grade levels, drawing children and teens into the Library for their books and other material.

Additionally, the Library has its own Summer Reading Club along with a full schedule of programs and contests that keep kids and their parents involved with us.

Students are not our only steady customers! Patrons of all ages take out books and audio books to read or listen to on vacation, whether their trips involve airplanes and car rides or just a stroll to their backyard lounge chair.
