The mission is to provide the students of Clinton Grove Elementary with the foundation of academic skills, life skills, and creative thinking skills that will launch them toward successful and productive lives.

Specifically, we have identified academic skills as reading, writing, mathematics, and technology. We feel that these form a strong foundation for further academic skills.

We have identified life skills as cooperation, effort, friendship, honesty, kindness and caring, organization, respect, responsibility, self control and having a sense of humor. The use of life skills will develop lifelong learners who will become responsible adults.

Furthermore, we have identified creative thinking as the stretching of the mind to generate many ideas, looking from many perspectives, elaborating ideas, producing the unusual or unique and the ability to solve solutions to everyday problems. The ability to use creative thinking will enable our students to persevere in an ever changing world.
