Color Connection Art Gallery :
Color Connection Gallery is owned and operated by eleven nationally recognized Tulsa painters, many with roots to the Gallery's founding in 1990. The Gallery is located in a brightly lit, airy space in the southeast corner of picturesque Utica Square. The original fine arts paintings & other artwork displayed in the Gallery offer a broad spectrum of mediums, styles, and subject matter, enough to satisfy the tastes of any art patron.

Mission:
Color Connection was founded in 1990 by a group of artists determined to draw public attention to the need for adequate exhibit space for Tulsa's bourgeoning visual artists community. In pursuit of their mission, Color Connection founders opened their own gallery, which has operated successfully ever since. Each artist owner contributes ideas and expertise, often borrowing from previous business experiences, including art gallery management.

Gallery Hop:
The original Gallery Walk, an evening of art, entertainment and fun for area art lovers, was one of the first events conceived and coordinated by the artists of Color Connection. Bringing Peoria galleries together for the event became an annual tradition until the Color Connection Gallery moved to Utica Square five years ago. Since then, galleries throughout Tulsa have been included and the event is now called the "Gallery Hop".

Philanthropy:
Color Connection has also become the scene of local charitable exhibitions. Many paintings by gallery artists are donated each year to various charitable causes in the City of Tulsa including Resonance, Alzheimers, Philbrook Festival of Trees, Tulsa Ballet, American Cancer Society, Laura Dester Shelter--and many more. It is not unusual for students to visit Color Connection for inspiration and encouragement. The artists also present art demonstrations each Saturday in January where they answer questions and discuss their painting techniques with art students and patrons.
