Our Mission:

The Columbus Free Clinic is a student run free clinic that integrates medical and community resources to partner with patients in addressing the physical and social determinants of health. The CFC offers volunteers an early opportunity to foster the passion and the ability to care for the under-served.

Our Vision:

1. Offer best-practice longitudinal care with a focus on chronic disease management that preemptively addresses barriers to care, health literacy and community linkage.

2. Offer acute care to all comers and bridge care for those patients in between insurance and trying to apply for insurance

3. Revisit programming periodically to ensure maximal interdisciplinary integration and applicability to the changing healthcare and social environments.

4. Provide an environment that allows the time for patients, volunteers and practitioners to teach and learn from one another.
