Community Home Care & Hospice is in need of caring, dependable volunteers. Our volunteer program provide's emotional support and companionship, comfort, and respite to our patients and their families. All of our patients have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness and have a prognosis of 6 months or less to live. They have opted for palliative care, rather than pursuing further curiative treatment. We strive to enable our patients to live their last days in the most fulfilling manner possible, whether they choose to do so in their home or in a nursing facility. We offer many volunteer opportunities including direct-care, indirect-care, tuck-in, and as needed. If you have a desire to be a hospice volunteer please let us know. Our volunteers come from a varitety of backgrounds, professions, and age groups.
