VISION - To create a learning center shared by all members of the community in an environment of friendship, caring and respect.

MISSION - CLIC (Community Learning and Information Center) shall promote education and personal enrichment utilizing the expertise of the people who live and work in the community.

The following types of programs will occur:

A low cost tutoring center featuring quality professionals to provide assistance to students in middle school, high school and community college.

Seminars taught by representatives of local businesses to educate and stimulate an interest in the local economy.
 
Panel discussions arranged on a variety of topics incorporating different points of view to be shared and discussed by those in attendance.

Weekly group meetings focusing on topics such as investment, health, and language. The center would serve as a meeting place for community members with common interests.
 
Educational programs and courses available in other parts of Central New York will be brought closer to home to increase educational opportunity for all citizens of our community.
 
A center for teens and young adults to gather and work together (school work and volunteer projects) and to socialize while enjoying a safe, drug free environment.
 
An information resource where questions can be asked and responses will be delivered in a timely manner.
 
CLIC is a not for profit, tax exempt corporation (501c3 status) recognized by the New York State Department of Education and the Federal Government. It is hoped that CLIC, Community Learning and Information Center of Manlius, will draw people together and support our local economy while enhancing our educational opportunities. The center is being designed to invite community members of all ages to participate.
