Seeking to respond to Christ's invitation to gather at his table of communion, where all are welcome, we at Community Protestant Church, United Church of Christ, strive to baptize, to teach, and to make disciples of all people.

Provide worship gatherings to strengthen our communion with the Holy Spirit, to acknowledge our need to joyfully accept God's forgiveness, and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Be welcoming and accepting of all. No matter who or no matter where we are on life's journey, we all belong to God and all are welcome to be part of one community of faith.

Provide Christian education opportunities for all ages to experience God's love, explore our beliefs, and share our understanding of God's righteous path.

Strive to be a community of believers in Jesus Christ who support each other in fellowship and friendship by providing regular opportunities to that end through times of joy and sorrow.

Seek ways and means to help those in the local community and throughout the world who are in need, victims of untimely circumstances beyond their control, or oppressed and troubled by injustices.

Seek to grow the witness to Christ in the world by welcoming believers in Jesus Christ and by baptizing those who choose to believe.

To accomplish these goals stated above, strive to enable and encourage all church members to give generously of their time, talents and financial resources to maintain and advance the work of the church.

We will regularly evaluate what we are doing so that we remain faithful and effective for God's purpose at Community Protestant Church, United Church of Christ.
